The Thursday WRAP – Regis takeover offer shows sector still profitable
This week’s Thursday WRAP is all about recent moves for Regis Healthcare by Soul Pattinson and the provider’s co-founder Bryan Dorman.
The move, which saw Regis, Japara and Estia’s share price rise saw brokers upgrade their advice for the listed provides to ‘buy’ has brought the sector’s profitability back into question.
But does this, along with strong results reported by aged care provider Bolton Clarke prove that the sector is back on the way to becoming profitable business?
Not necessarily, as DCM Group editor Lauren Broomham explains in The Thursday WRAP.
Lauren says there’s plenty of profit to be found in the sector, but not without size and scale.
