The DCM Institute year in review
It’s time to look back at the DCM Institute year in review. After a year like no other, we thought this would be a great opportunity to look back on some of the incredible work the DCMI has been a part of in 2020.
DCMI has been proud to be part of the sector’s response to the challenges post COVID, and the way everyone in retirement living has worked together to keep villages and residents safe.
Here are a few highlights from our year:
- 87 learning videos filmed and produced for our members
- 25 extensive, expert interviews with the industry’s leaders
- 24 specific COVID resources created
- Help popular Village Network meetings with village professionals around Australia
- Be one of the first events in the sector to resume
- Celebrating 18 months of operation at the DCM Institute
- DCM Institute host the sector’s first post-COVID gathering (pictured below) for its Adelaide Industry update
On a personal level, we’ve also seen some great achievements from the DCMI team.
- Jodie Prosser publishing over 50 issues of the Village Professional
- Judy Martin elected Chair of the Global Ageing Network
- Tania Kelly helping add 219 education resources to our database
- Sally Middleton joining the team and providing crucial support to new members
Thank you for your support
We’d like to extend a big thank you on behalf of everyone at DCMI to the members and people who’ve provided support during 2020.
The end of the year is always a great time to stop and think about the benefits of being part of this wondering industry, which has so many passionate, strong professionals.
DCMI appreciates the opportunity to help village professionals in their journey and do what the team are passionate about – building a sector that people love to live and work in.
